Work Related PreparednessWorkplace Related Preparedness means providing a safe working environment for all employees, including employees with disabilities. A successful workplace emergency preparedness plan involves employer responsibility, balanced with the rights of an employee, along with a properly informed first-responder. Managers should involve employees with disabilities in the development of a work-preparedness plan, and provide plan information in accessible formats (sign language interpreter, Braille, large print) if appropriate. The following web sites have more information about Work Related Preparedness: Please note: Some of the Web sites listed below are not federal government websites, and may not necessarily operate under the same laws, regulations, and policies as federal websites.
